what does cc mean in email?

Carbon copy is abbreviated as "CC." To send a copy of an email to one or more additional recipients, utilise email. The email's "To" recipient is its main recipient, and although the CC recipients receive a copy of it, they are not its main intended recipients. The "CC" designation is used to inform recipients that the email has been delivered or to keep them informed, even if they may not be the intended recipients.

It's important to keep in mind that in addition to "CC," there is also "BCC," or "Blind Carbon Copy." This option is similar to "CC," with the primary exception being that recipients listed in the BCC field cannot see one other.

This feature is used when you want to keep the email addresses of the recipients private from each other.
